Why Veritane

What shapes the Veritane approach

Reading-led, not advice-led

Every session is built around structured reading material and facilitated discussion. No product recommendations, no regulated advice — simply a space to read, ask, and reflect.

Small, considered cohorts

Cohorts are kept deliberately small — between eight and twelve participants — so that each person's questions find space in the room, and discussions remain grounded and personal.

Soft, unhurried tone

The vocabulary of household finance can feel dense or pressured. Veritane's programmes are written and facilitated without urgency, suited to considered reading at any pace.

Singapore-specific reading

Materials are drawn from Singapore public documentation — CPF Board correspondence, HDB publications, and publicly available scheme literature — so content reflects what participants actually encounter.

Printed, tangible materials

Each programme includes a printed workbook, reference binder, or conversation cards — materials to keep, annotate, and return to after the sessions have concluded.

A space to grow familiarity

Veritane is built for adults who want to become more comfortable with the language of their own financial documents — not to be told what to do, but to read and understand with greater confidence.

Frequently asked questions

Who are these programmes designed for?

Veritane's programmes are written for adults aged 40 and above living in Singapore. Each reading circle or workshop is shaped around a specific life stage — the empty-nest period, approaching retirement-related scheme review, or carrying financial coordination responsibilities across multiple family households.

Are these programmes regulated financial advisory services?

No. Veritane's programmes are entirely educational in scope. Facilitators read and discuss publicly available documentation with participants. No product recommendations, no investment directions, and no regulated advice of any kind are offered during any session or in any materials.

How are sessions delivered?

Sessions are held in person at our Robinson Road premises in Singapore. Each session runs for approximately ninety minutes to two hours. Printed reading materials are distributed ahead of each session or on arrival.

What does the fee cover?

The programme fee covers all sessions in the cohort, all printed materials (workbooks, binders, glossary cards, or conversation cards depending on the programme), and access to any follow-up resources noted in the programme description. There are no additional charges after enrolment.

How do I secure a place in a cohort?

Cohorts are formed on a rolling basis as interest accumulates. Use the enquiry form on this page or contact us directly by telephone or email. We will confirm the next available cohort date and send you a programme outline and enrolment note.

Is my personal information kept private?

Yes. Participant details are held only for programme administration and cohort communication. They are not shared with third parties and are not used for marketing purposes without your separate consent. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.
